As we all know, the new list of priority occupations is currently on hold  by Citizenship and Immigration. At this point, One thing is guaranteed that MI5 will be open this coming January 2013. But cant wait for that? Here is an alternative for your Immigration Application. Apply for Quebec Skilled Worker Program.

Quebec-Selected Skilled Workers Program

One thing about this Nurses with or without experience Can Apply.

The good thing about Quebec-Selected Skilled Workers Program is that there is no restricted occupations and a job offer is not required. You will have an advantage though if you know French Language and have immediate relatives living in Quebec.

Quebec-Selected Skilled Workers Program also uses points system using 10 selection criteria:

Training
Validated Employment Offer
Experience
Age
Language Proficiency
Stay and Family in Quebec
Spouse's Characteristics
Children
Financial Self-Sufficiency
Adaptability

Interested to apply under Quebec-Selected Skilled Workers Program? The first step is to check if your education/experience is included in Quebec's priority list and then send your resume to rgomez@go2canada.com / rolandgomez21@yahoo.com. My senior consultant has a  partner, Vivre O Canada Immigration, will make a Free assessment and if eligible, will be in the best position to process your application.

If eligible, the next step is then to file an Application for Quebec Selection Certificate. Once approved, only then you can file your Permanent Residence Visa application to the Canadian Visa Office responsible for the country where you live as a citizen or permanent resident.

Like I said, One Occupation that coud possibly take advantage of this are NURSES, Imagine you need at least 6 months of Work Experience to Qualify.

Nurses without experience can also apply for Quebec Program.
